Rubber Flexible Joint | Rubber Expansion Joints | Single Bellow | Double Bellow | Union Joint
Rubber Flexible Joint
Our experience and broad product range enable us to provide high quality solutions and services for the benefit of our customers. All expansion joints (also known as Bellows) are engineered specifically to suit the customer's project and to solve the expansion problem.
To meet the expectations of high safety, engineering must be supported by reliable and verified calculations. We calculate therefore according to the latest design codes, recognised by international classification associations. The required solutions can be supplied with CE-marking in compliance with the Pressure Equipment Directive.
Our Rubber pipe expansion joints are often used to compensate for minor misalignment and offset. The design is normal water or air as well as chemical and abrasion resistant, accommodates for higher pressures than the standard metal expansion joints and eliminates sediment buildup. They have an integrally flanged design where no gaskets are required and are designed to absorb noise, vibration, and shock. This single, wide arch, spool-type rubber expansion joint is provided with retaining rings and rods.
Movement Capability:
- Filled Arch reduces movement.
- The degree of Angular Movement is based on the maximum extension shown.
- To calculate the approximate movement of Multiple Arch expansion joints, take the movement shown in the above table and multiply by the number of arches.
- Movements shown above are based on proper installation practice.
- Absorbs Vibration, Noise and Shock
- Sound travelling axially through Expansion Joints is stopped at once.
- Water hammer, pumping impulses and waterborne noises are absorbed by the moulded, lightweight, thin-wall structure.
- Easy to Install, Easy to Remove
- Loose flanges, no need of gasket or packing, and elastic spherical body make Expansion Joints easy to install or remove.
Spherical shape is stronger than cylindrical shape or other configuration. Thus under pressure, Sure Flow Expansion Joints are 4 times as strong as cylindrical joints. Additionally, our products are made of the best suitable material, and hence their burst pressure is much higher than those of other makes.
Wide Service Range
Made with chemical elastomers such as Neoprene.
Greater Movements are Available
Axial compression and elongation, deflection and angular movements will be greater.
Suitable for Suction and Delivery
Owing to its excellent molding technique with its tough chemical fiber, Expansion Joints can satisfactorily withstand the suction and discharge.
High Efficiency
Expansion Joints have a streamlined, flowing arch to reduce turbulence, sediment build-up, thrust area and the effects of thrust on the piping system equipment.
Low Deformation Under Pressure
Internal pressure is exerted in all directions distributing forces evenly over a large area. Hence, the deformation of Sure Flow Expansion Joints due to pressure is much lower than that of other makes.
Light and Compact
The space required for the installation of an Expansion Joint is about half of the requirement of a cylindrical joint. Weight is about one third.
