EPDM Rubber Gasket

Due to the EPDM rubber materials' excellent resistance to aging, ozone, and weathering, the EPDM rubber gaskets are widely used in external applications. The EPDM gaskets are made of  EPDM rubber elastomer and have an impermeable surface which is ideal for use with most alkaline, ketones and diluted acids, offering strong abrasion resistance.

In medium-range sealing applications, EPDM gaskets are widely used and as flange gaskets, manhole seals or low-pressure pipe seals. We offer EPDM Gaskets in food-safe or Drinking water approved versions - from FDA or WRAS/WRs certified. Our specialty are regular EPDM gaskets as well as white food quality EPDM gaskets for use with potable drinking water or for foodstuffs.

EPDM gaskets are the most often specified gasket choice because of their ozone resistance. If your gasket will be outdoors and exposed to temperatures between -40 C and 120 C the EPDM gasket is a great choice.

Description:

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM):

EPDM gaskets are made of a black plate finish sheet with superior resistance to weathering, ozone and UV exposure. EPDM gaskets provide excellent chemical resistance*, and good electrical properties. EPDM gaskets resist animal and vegetable oils, steam, water and oxygenated solvents. This material meets ASTM D-2000-2BA specifications.

We cut gaskets from EPDM sheet gasket material to produce EPDM gaskets. Gaskets cut from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 10 mm using EPDM Material.

Please note that the EPDM rubber gaskets are Not oil resistant.   Temperature range: -40C to 120C
