Viton Rubber Sheet

SYNTHETIC RUBBER’s Viton rubber sheets of this grade are produced of 68% Fluorine. Viton™ is more resistant and maintains more stability after dry heat aging.

It is suggested for applications needing maximum elastic properties preservation in combination with excellent mechanical characteristics. Viton™ provides superior strength to aggressive acids diluted as well as to concentrated acids.

 Oil Resistant

 High Temperature Resistant

  Acid Resistant

 Weather Resistant

    UV Resistant

   Ozone Resistant

Viton rubber is defined by a higher range of liquids and chemicals than any other non-fluorinated elastomer:

  • Viton has excellent Resistance to degradation.
  • Oil, fuel, lubricants and most mineral acids have excellent strength.
  • Extremely small permeability to a wide spectrum of drugs, including especially excellent results in automotive oxygenated fuels.
  • Viton has outstands any other rubber's resistance to aliphatic, aromatic hydrocarbons.
  • The compression set of the Viton is exceptionally nice, even at elevated temperatures.
  • Exceptionally excellent oxidation, sun and wind resistance.
  • Excellent fungal and mold strength.

Ideal Applications

With intense versatility and resistance properties, Viton® is typically the right material choice for more heavy-duty applications. Commonly employed in various gasket, o-ring and other rubber sealing solutions, Viton® has become a reliable material for automotive seals, transportation fuel applications and aerospace seals, pumps and valves.
